Cheesecakesss..

Since the next assignment is not too taxing (i think), i've given myself 2 days break to get over that silly incident and to let out some steam before the next leap.

Last night, i began my task to bake cheesecake. Given my housemate's several failures, i decided to put in more effort to ensure that the cheesecake would turn out well, or at least edible. So, i spent the afternoon jus youtubing on cheesecake before getting all the ingredients required.

Anyway, i started about 9pm and the cake was out of the oven at about 3am? I guess it shouldn't take this long but it's my first time baking it and I've placed them in 2 different sizes so the whole process was longer.

Was kinda excited how it'll all turn out. all was well, albeit a wee bit too lemon-ish.

I've distributed to a few friends to gain some feedback so i can improve on it...
so far so good.
I've decided to stick to this recipe.. but less lemon... :P

Academic MisConduct of that imbecile

Correction, i shouldn't even use the word "friend" in the previous entry so sloppily... semester mate would be more appropriate. after one sem, let's not keep in contact.

2 days ago, in the midst of rushing my assignment, he msged me on msn telling me that they have decided to fail him - for the second time. Since it's a compulsory subject, he would have to do it again next year. For a second, my heart skipped a beat and my hands turned cold. So i asked him for the email that they've sent jus to confirm everything.

Yep. They were lenient, despite being  "encouraged to terminate his program", they decided to fail him for that subject instead. so that's that.

Thanks to that imbecile, I was "invited" to a meeting with the faculty heads. Clearly, i wasn't at fault. And my friends have reassured me that they jus wanna to clarify and inform me about it so i should be cool. But somehow i still felt jittery. In addition, i was also quite stressed to get my assignment done in time on same day as the meeting.

I was greeted with smiles and thankfulness for being able to attend the meeting. To me, it felt weird and i din know how to react to it. i was totally in a daze.  My lecturer, the student advisor manager and student learning centre advisor (i think) attended the meeting and they took turns to question. Basically, it went quite alright i guess. i was so nervous and blurted everything they wanna know. Although i still held some within myself with "erm yea... uhuh.. yea...." letting them fill in the blanks. but the decision has been made and the whole purpose of the meeting was to informed me that some imbecile has plagiarized my work. Although nothing was taken against me as i was the "victim", i was overwhelmed by the meeting and i couldn't concentrate in my classes afterwards.

Only after 10 days, since i was informed about the plagiarism, that i became aware of the gravity of the whole incident. and most of all, furious for that imbecile's actions and his non-remorsefulness. Setting aside all the extra stress and anxiety he has caused me during the peak period of my assignments without a word of apology, he was and IS still in denial of his mistake. The more i think about it after the meeting, the more pissed i was with him and myself. i should have elaborated more during the meeting if only i have realised earlier how pissed i am now.

1. After blatantly admitting that he has handed in my assignment on purpose "since i did not pass it to anyone else" he wanted to request for an "appeal" when he was informed of the instant failure of the subject and insisted that he "did not plagiarised" which he clearly has intended to do so right at the start~!

2. Having trouble accessing information that i had written in my assignment, he approached me and asked me to "help" him to look for it. Dude, i have my own assignments to worry. It's for reference and if u cant find the info, dun use it.

3. He still has the cheek to ask me if any of my friends are doing the same subject as him or has done it before cuz he wanted their assignment. This, i gladly said "no" cuz that's the truth. and even if i do, i should have said. "F*** *FF" still i think its too kind for him.

4. He still has the cheek to ask what subjects i'm doing this sem. and i replied "property. does it matter" wtf, stop asking me the same question all the time.

5. He still wanna know wad subject i'll be doing next sem. Thank goodness i dun have to lie to him for any of these questions cuz we'll not be doing the same subject. and even if we are...

"F*** OFF"

yea.. hell u are right, i'm still damn pissed.
