PASSED QUARANTINE~

Decided to return to the living to continue on my assignment cuz my room was too quiet and having background music would be too distracting. 

On my dining table, i caught a sight of a yellow envelope addressed to me. 

(of cuz i removed my name and add.. haha)

But what surprised me the most was this (look at the blue sticker):

And when i opened the envelope, what i found...

A letter and brochure from the Australian Government, Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry - Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service.

International Mail: Seizure Notice

Your mail did not meet Australian quarantine requirements.

Comments: All plant material must be identified so that a risk assessment can be made. Certain plants may be prohibited or restricted. Plant material may carry fungal spores that can introduce serious plant pathogens.

Apart from the item destroyed by the Director of Quarantine, the letter and photo arrived safe and sound.

hurhurhur... what a pleasant surprise..

It feels as if...

The clock on the wall shows 3am (but it's only 2). It's not terribly cold, but i need some background noise to accompany me thru the night - the buzzing of the fridge (dun ask me why my fridge makes a buzzing sound. maybe it's old?) and the heater (it's old too). I'm sitting in the living room trying to complete my assignment. 3 assignments due next week and i've yet to complete any. 

My eyes are kinda weary from staring at Youtube videos for the past hour. >.< 

I'm exhausted. But i know, tmr will be too late.

It feels as if i'm studying for my exams. 

It feels as if it was only yesterday when he was studying at the exact spot i am sitting...

It feels as if it was only yesterday when they were here rushing thru all their lectures and complaining about how they would screw up their papers..

It feels as if  it was only yesterday my living room was filled with people...

To all these people, thank you for letting me into your life. I hope one day, we'll be able to reminisce our times together and feel like we're back in uni again.

PURA. Brings out the "Mmmmm" in Milk.

I wouldn't say that I've tried all the different brands of milk in Aussie, but i've tried all those my friends have recommended. My verdict for the best brand, Pura. The equally good thing about it is that you can also enjoy it in Singapore. 

It was a pleasant surprise when I saw them in Carrefour last summer hols. >.<
