And Yet another time.
2 more exams to go and i'm done for this semester.
Woke up early and dragged myself to the library for some productive studying before meeting xueshan at 12.30 for lunch and shopping at Smith street.
Books - Checked
Notebook - Checked
Stationaries - Checked
Wallet - Checked
Keys - Checked
Sunglasses - Checked
cool. I'm ready to go.
As far as i can recall, it was a productive morning. :D
Met XS and we went for lunch - Vegie bar. Yes. Vegan.
Sadly, cant find much to buy at Smith. but it was cool~ it's the company that matters isn't it? heeh... haven been out with XS for the longest period of time. but it's a pity we din take any pictures.
After walking for hours, we headed to my place. haha... it was kinda messy. XS being XS, started packing my stuff. haha.. Haiyo. so stress. then, under her supervision, i packed and washed the dishes. After that, i urged her to try "Taro green bean" smoothie from my workplace.
On our way there, i realised that i forgot to bring my wallet~ AND my keys.
Yes. I've locked myself yet another time. Sigh...
The P.E.R.F.E.C.T weather
If this continues, i'm quite relunctant to return to Singapore. haha.~

About a Boy
For his age, he’s very petite.
He does not like to talk.
He comes and goes as he please.
Despite being the smallest and quietest, he stood out from the crowd.
I’ve been participating in Sudanese Australia Integrated Learning (SAIL) for the past 4 months. Even since I was there, I was placed with another group of tutors and students. Today, while one of the students was colouring, Adam stood beside us. I invited him to join us and handed him some colour pencils. After he had finish colouring, he started tracing the picture on the other side. Shortly, he ran away, playing the piano and came back with “Connect Four”. I played with him with the assumption that he did not know the rules but I was wrong. For the first few rounds, I let him win. However, I decided to challenge him. And he cheated! He refused to let me put in places he knew he can’t win and he removed all the tokens I have placed. He disappeared and came back with “Guess who” and later, “Snake and ladders”. Throughout the whole time, he was communicating with body language. But playing “guess who” forced him to speak up. The first sentence he spoke, “Is yours a girl?” After playing for some time, I urged him to do some work. After a long negotiation, we settled on ABC. Still, he refused to speak and it was hard to know if he knew the work. It took me quite some time to make him read a loud A to Z albeit whispering to himself.
It was nearly 12 noon. Lunch time! Adam said he wanted to play outside. To my horror, despite my warning, for the second time, I found him attempting to climb the tree which 2 older students were on. He climbed onto the bricks below the branches and reached out for them. I ran up and pulled him off the tree. Thank goodness he’s not too heavy. I can’t imagine what will happen if he fell off the tree. The fence under the tree was a little pointed and there were concrete slabs and bricks under it! They should remove them!
Sam, one of the coordinators, asked if I would mind taking Adam as my student. I was delighted. Yes, I would love to! We had an agreement that Adam will be in the Junior room until I’m back.
Yippee! I have a student. He is undeniably adorable!
I cant wait to be back next year :)
Let’s Make Poverty History
I’m glad to be given the opportunity to watch “Make Poverty History” concert at Sidney Myer Music bowl on 17th Nov 2006 with Wen, Sheryl and Jolene. Some of the performers include Jet, Eskimo Joe and Evermore. Thanks to GGP, currently in Adelaide, who gave us the tickets he won to watch on his behalf. The show was scheduled to start from 6 to 11pm – 5 hours of nonstop music! However, as it coincided with Jolene’s brother birthday celebration, we arrived around 9.45.We caught 3 performances by Eskimo Joe, Hilltop Hood and Jet. Although the trip could be better, Eskimo Joe and Jet made it worth while. There was another performer in between but we left to search for merchandise and to our disappointment, apart from the stickers and wristband, others were Sold Out!

How about a puppy?
I used to think that pets are cute to see but I was never a big fan of having one. After knowing my friend’s super active dog and hanging around dog lovers, I’m starting to change my perspective about that. :D
This morning, on my way to the examination hall at the law building, I saw a woman walking her dog. Dogs here are so obedient unlike those in
Anyway, while I was doing my exams, my thoughts kept drifted to all the doggies that my friends owned and how I used to be so frightened of them although they looked terribly friendly and harmless... from FAR. Hahaha…
I’m not up to keep a dog here cuz I can hardly take care of myself. Haiz… Maybe next time, I should have one. And if so, I’ll let you know :D

Exams
After exams, I'll be returning home. There, I'll spend the next 3 months catching up with friends, shopping, traveling, cleaning my house (maybe? Bet I haven't inform any of you that my maid had returned to her home country for good. So right now, there are 3 maids in the house. And when I return, there will be 4. When my elder brother returns from London, there will be the 5 of us :))and hopefully learning how to cook better food. haha... my aim... to be an all-rounder. Ha! To have a work-life balance so as to speak from a management point of view. hahaha!
Time to hit the books again. Hopefully, it wouldn't be too long till the next time I type the next entry.
Cheers.
It's only the exams. no big deal. :)

Good Morning!!!
well... i was thinking few days back to make life here more interesting and to satisfy my thirst for adventures and make full use of my time here in Aussie, i wanna try out new things and go to new places, at least, every fortnightly. ;)
and i did 2 things yesterday which fulfilled my thirst for new experience!!!
it was a tiring day, hanging out with new old friends and meeting new people. Generally, it was great!
in the morning , we met 1 and a half hours before the game!!! the place was not that far but it took us exactly 1 and a half hours to get there becuz we headed to the opposite direction. and it took us ard 20 -30 mins to realise, after my friend decided to ask the tram driver!!! piangz~! haha...
anyway, we were heading to catch a squash match for the COMMONWEALTH 2006! at Albert park. hmmm... why squash? that's the only time we are available cuz for other games, it's either there's no ticket or there's a clash with my tutorials. but well... we play squash here in melb too... so it's something i can relate to anyway... to me, the games was secondary, i jus wanna experience the atmosphere at the competition ground! and u know wad... the Aussies are crazy!!! crazy in a positive way... i doubt singaporeans will be like that... hahaa... anyway... we watched 2 matches, the first was girls team both from New Zealand. i support the losing team and eventually, they WON!!! and the second games was guys team : Aussie VS NZL. o... it's a close game. a very good game. and it lasted for nearly 2 hours!!! if i play the way they play it, i'll be lying dead on the ground after 3mins or maybe less. I'M NOT JOKING... IT'S REALLY SUPER TIRING. they were running all over the place and "swish", "swoash", "swap", "woosh" and the ball went " pook, tock, pong, tock, konk" and sometimes i cant even see the BALL!!! and that went on for 2 hours!!! altogether, they played 4 matches! and the girls only spend 1 hour playing 5 matches! haha... even so, the guys were so how entertaining... cuz they played so fast, so well, and they always have the tendency to jump and move parts of their body in every weird way u can think of to avoid the ball. hahaa... well... gonna leave that to ur imagination...
that's the squash court behind. (during the break)

with some Aussie Supporters
after that, we took some crazy pics.... basicially, it's jus me and one other guy doing all the crazy stuff... but i dun think it's crazy u noe... it's really fun! haha... well... ppl have different definition of things anyway... and since he's willing to do it to... i did something i wanted to do since the start of this event!!! hahaa...

the crazy me

I'm not alone!!! hahaa...

NZL team. Not the winner. But still a champ! GREAT game. (thou a bit too long)
well... singapore table tennis players were playing at the next hall... but we din manage to get a ticket to watch that. so haiz... what a waste! i wonder how did they play...
after all the crazy photo taking sessions, we headed home. was already super tired and hungry. after cooking, my housemate and i have to leave for another gathering... it's called "DIVA's NIGHT" haha... it's a make up session for some church charity work. well... jus wanna help me friend out so i went. Personally, i'm not that interested in putting make up anyway... but still... it was enriching. and i think my interest level increases by a bit... :D

I've started packing some of my things into paper boxes. for those who dunno, i'm gonna move house soon. to make things simpler for my beloved family members, i'm gonna keep all my stuff so it's easier for them to transport.
well... the process was kinda emotional? haha... cant find the exact words. Lotsa pics (which i decided i should bring some to melbourne), letters and diaries...
seeing his name appearing on the pages brought me back to those days. i can feel my tears swelling in my eyes...
i took a deep breath...
