Nortälje and Drottnignholm island

Met a Taiwanese, Laura, when I was trying to solve my internet connection problem in Mimers Bar (It's the name of the IT support office). She's a landscape architect on a holiday trip but has decided to pursue further education in Sweden. Almost immediately, we exchanged numbers and set a date for a mini excursion... unfortunately, I have to go to Vasamuseet on Tuesday so she went ahead with her friend. We met up on Friday instead and headed down to Nortälje and Drottnignholm island. The trip was unplanned and i pretty much followed whereever she went. The weather wasn't fantastic but it was pretty kind to us. ie. it drizzled when we can easily find shelter and sunny when we were outdoor sightseeing or hiking in the forest. 

After that, we took a short trip to Spillersboda and back cuz there wasn't much to see there.

Headed down to Drottnignholm island and hiked through the forest before we finally arrived at the jetty to take a ferry down to another island and take the subway back home.

It's not the nice ferry that u might be expecting. It's one cars can "hop on" to. Yes.. the whole yellow thing in the pic above.

10 Kronos which is about $2sgd, so i'm not complaining. :D The sun was setting and the view was soothing.

The whole day out and i only spent 10 kronos on the boat trip. Am i good or what? I've never been so thrifty. Never.
